We are both excited and sad that today is Aidan's 2nd birthday. Excited because we got to send him a birthday cake that we ordered through BlessedKids.com and to see him open his birthday presents we sent him via another families pictures that is in China now to get their son Felix. Sad because we are missing yet another birthday and can't be there to hug him, watch him blow out the candles, and feel the excitement when he sees his cake and presents.
It doesn't make up for us not being there but of course as his mommy, I am jealous that other moms will be there to see it but not me. Ella continues to be excited about having a baby brother and tells everyone who will listen that we are going to China to get her baby brother in the Sping (Spring).
Our families seem to be very excited about his arrival and we cannot wait to see him with his new cousins (Spencer, Tanner, and Conner) and playing with Ella and the dogs, Jake and Maggie!
