We got the letter in the mail yesterday about our I800 being approved. I hurried and scanned it and emailed it to the Travel Dept. to only get an email about 10 minutes later that they received one at their offices today as well. We already knew it was approved last Wednesday after I talked to our caseworker, Gretchen, on the phone to clear up how to spell Aiden's Chinese name. We are so excited that we are one step closer to bringing him home. Now, we just have to wait for the TA (travel approval) to come through which basically gives us permission to come and get him. The next step after that would be waiting for our Consulate Appointment for the Immigration Office in Guangzhou where we'll get Aiden's VISA and passport. It will be the same place where we got Ella's back in 2006. What a walk down memory lane!
