Yesterday the weather here in Metro Detroit was almost 70 but today it was in the 50's. Anyway, we had Ella's 4th Birthday party today and then we took a nap then got ready to Trick or Treat. Ella decided to go as a Cheetah cat and Aiden went as a skeleton. We even bought a costume for Maggie our Jack Russel Terrier and took her with us in the wagon.
Ella was great about saying Trick or Treat and Thank You to each house she went to and I was so proud of her. Aiden was a little reluctant about some of the costumes and was afraid of his own costume but got better as he realized that Ella was OK and that people were giving him food in his pumpkin bag. After an hour or so, we came back home, ready for some quiet time and a snack. I cannot believe how much candy they got after just an hour. I guess people see little kids and give them a big handful rather than just a piece. We even went to Costco this morning and Ella got to go trick-or-treating inside the store which she thought was very cool.
