We are in China Once Again!

We landed in Beijing yesterday afternoon to a hot, humid 90+ day. Ella was thirsty and hot in her pants and hoodie but she managed. She's been acting like a 2 year old again since there was a little girl, Mya who is 2 on our flight. They played together very nicely which was nice for both of them to pass the time although Ella slept about 10 hours of the flight which was nice too. There are 5 families here right now but I think that the other 4 families were flying in sometime late last night.

We are here in Beijing till Sunday when we fly out to Henan where Aiden is. All the families are going on to Henan but our babies are in different cities. Us and one other family are going to Jiaozuo for our sons so at least we won't be traveling alone.

It's now almost 4am here and Ella and I are wide awake. She's watching her DVD player and drinking grape juice while daddy sleeps. He didn't sleep at all on the plane so he is a lot more tired than we were. We have to meet our guide downstairs at 9 for our tour of the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. This will be a treat because the last time we were there some of the Forbidden City was under construction for the upcoming Olympics. I think we are also doing a tour of a jade factory again, lunch, and then a tour of a silk factory. Tomorrow we are doing the Great Wall tour which will be cool to see Ella's reaction to seeing it up close and personal since we read about it all the time at home.

The picture is of Ella looking out the window of our bus on the way to the hotel and she kept saying, "Mommy, if we are in China, then where is Aiden? Let's go get him yeserday!" How cute! She sure is a doll and I cannot wait to see the two of them together on Monday.

Till next time..........
