We're Leavin' on a Jet Plane

I cannot believe that I am actually able to finally say......... we are off to get our little boy! We will be up at 2:30, assuming we get ANY sleep at all then heading to my in-laws who will be taking us to the airport around 3:30/4:00 a.m. tomorrow. We fly from Detroit to Newark with a 4 hr. layover then off to Beijing. We land in Beijing on the 25th which will still be the 24th here due to the time difference. We'll be touring Beijing for 2 days before heading off to Zhengzhou, Henan on the 28th, which happens to be our wedding anniversary. We are scheduled to get Aiden on the morning of the 29th which will be the evening of the 28th here at home so what an Anniversary present to each other, huh?

We are flying over with 3 families from our agency which will be nice. Two of the families are taking their daughters with them as well so Ella will have 2 little girls to play with on the long flight. We are very excited to being with other families that we'll spend the next 16 days with in China so that we can get to know each other. We just saw Aiden on Skype again and he is sooooooooooo cute and looks so happy. He is going to have a really hard time leaving Jenny at Eagles Wings but she thinks he'll be just fine with all the one-on-one attention he'll be getting from the 3 of us. We have lots of candy and treats as well as a few toys that Ella picked out that she thought her brother would like (I certainly hope so).

The next time I log on we'll be in Beijing. Please pray for our safe travel and that everything runs smoothly upon landing and after when we get Aiden and then our safe travels back home.
